Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I transfer or refund a ticket?

A. To transfer or edit your ticket information, you must make a TicketSpice account. There will be a link on your confirmation email to make one, and on your receipt page. To request a refund, please contact [email protected] for more information.


Q. Can I have more information on the venue location/accessibility?

A. The trade show floor will be located at the Steele Community Centre, 155 Airport Boulevard. This venue can be accessed through the arena door. It is wheelchair accessible, and the majority of events will take place on the ground floor. The exception to this is the NLPA Prospector events, which will take place in the upstairs meeting rooms. An elevator can be used to access the walking track, meeting rooms, and cafeteria on the second floor.

Transportation is provided by a shuttle that runs between the Gander hotels and the Steele Centre. The community centre also has a large parking lot with 300+ parking spaces for those who choose to drive.

The Technical Talks will take place next door at the Gander Curling Club, 146 Airport Boulevard. A multi-purpose lounge with bar access will be set up for attendees to network and relax while the technical talks take place. This space is also wheelchair accessible. The Curling Club bar will be closed while the Student Science Fair is taking place on the afternoon of May 14th.


Q. Where do I check-in for the conference?

A. The Sports Hall of Fame will be used as a registration area. When you enter the Steele Community Centre through the arena doors, it will be to your immediate right. Signage will be displayed guiding attendees to the registration area.


Q. I have a food allergy or need a special accommodation. What can I do?

A. You should have been prompted to provide information about your allergies or sensitivities at the time of your ticket purchase. If you were unable to do so, or were not prompted, please send an email to [email protected] so we can ensure that food items are provided or excluded as required.

We will ensure there is something you can eat at our luncheons, cocktail reception, and keynote gala. Alternate meals can be prepared as required, or we can be sure to exclude items that can cause an airborne allergic reaction. 


Q. When does Early-Bird registration end?

A. Early-Bird registration concludes at 11:59 PM, February 28th. Tickets purchased after this time will not receive the discounted rate and will revert to their full price.


Q. How do I get my invoice/HST number?

A. The account that purchased the tickets should have received a confirmation email with the HST number. If you cannot find it in your email, TicketSpice has a feature at the top of the page that will re-send your confirmation email.
